Solar PV power plant brightens up lives of Bajgundi villagers

WWF-India conducted an installation of a 10 kWp micro solar PV power station in the Bajgundi Forest Village, Aamgahan Panchayat, Balaghat District of Madhya Pradesh. The power station will provide clean energy access to these communities.

A one-day workshop was held to sensitize media personnel and journalists in Kaziranga and Golaghat on the specifics of wildlife laws and their enforcement. The workshop's objective was to help the media play an instrumental role in shaping public opinion for conservation.

Landscapes across the country conducted special events on Global Tiger Day, held annually on July 29, to spread the message of tiger conservation to future generations. The celebration of this occasion is one of many features of the Tx2 pledge by tiger range countries who committed to efforts that would double the world's tiger population by 2022.
